Adding weight isn't necessarily a bad thing. It all depends on where you put it. Moving 36lbs off the nose to the rear will definately move his CG towards the rear. As far as wires, a 1g wire from front to back is only 5lbs. I'd add 5lbs to the whole car if I could lose 36 off the front.

Fiberglass trunk lid too if you're going all out..but please don't gut that car, gutted foxes are a dime a dozen...decent cars with a good full interior are hard to find

here is some cheap tricks

put a multi index timing chain on it.retard it 4 degrees put some 1.7 rockers on the exhaust only. leave the factory ones on the intake. dont forget to spray the shit out of it...

and everything listed above. you could have a high 11 sec car with the right driver mod...
