Heres a pretty good list of weight reduction I found online.....
Here's what you could lose...
front sway bar: 21 lbs
actual front bumper (not the cover): 24 lbs
move the battery to the trunk: no loss but putting that 50lb lead box over the rear is better
fiberglass hood: 20 lbs lighter than the stock steel hood
trunk pad sound deadener: 15 lbs
tail pipes: 20 lbs
rear seats: 47 lbs
lightweight aftermarket seats: 24 lbs lighter than the stock seats
replace the power rack with manual rack and eliminate the power steering pump: 16 lbs
rear sway bar: 14 lbs
front wheels and tires, switch to skinnies: 32 lbs
heater, stereo, speakers, under carpet padding, center console, and misc. interior items: 63 lbs
rear tires/wheels with DR's/aluminum wheels: 20 lbs
spare tire and jack: 42 lbs
replace stock radiator with aluminum version: 15 lbs
replace stock iron heads with aluminum versions: 40 lbs
drag racing only...
remove all exhaust after header collector: 51 lbs
window cranks, mechanisms, and side impact bracing in doors: 36 lbs
And since gas weighs 6.2 pounds per gallon, race with less than 1/2 tank and you'll be down even more.

Good list will. Another thing is wheels. Its not free but what I have always heard it broken down to is this:
For every 100 lbs of sprung weight dropped you lose .1 on your quarter mile time.
For every 10 lbs of unsprung weight dropped you lose .1 on your quarter mile time.
For every 100 lbs of sprung weight dropped you lose .1 on your quarter mile time.
For every 10 lbs of unsprung weight dropped you lose .1 on your quarter mile time.

Just a note. Unless you need the room under the hood or you're having trouble hooking, don't relocate your battery. It adds weight with the extra wires and battery box and everything.
