loosing 35lbs
i went ahead and installed my tubular K today, and did some weight measurements for real world.
I pulled all the stock front suspension, put just the k and control arms on my bathroom scales. A whopping 82 lbs

For this swap I used the QA1 k-member w/ spring perches. I got a set of the motorsport control arms (non -tubular) I have my reasons for this. The control arms and tubular K came in at a mere 48lbs.

I didn't get any of the alignment issues, I have heard about. Once all the bolts are started, it can only slide front to back.
It did move my wheels forward but, not even an inch. It also gave another inch of drop to the C-springs

Now all I have to do is let 15lbs of air out of each of my tires and I'll be close to shedding 100lbs today

^ one of my biggest probs has been w/ header fitment. I haven't gone with the tubular arms yet, i'm still on track w/ keeping this a street car w/ some corner carving in mind.
Joe, it had holes from tree sap all through the roof. That car looked great in pics, and the owner really sold me on it. That roof would be a bitch to find. I really wanted that car, my heart kept saying yes, and my brain(never had anything to say before) said no
