Is this pic with no weight in the front? She's gonna be in the weeds if it is when you add motor, tranny and rest of the goodies

Harold, give me a buzz or stop by some time.

Tim the K's run new around $239, you can usually pick up a priviously loved one for less. There is still more weight lose if you go w/ coilover and tubular arms.

Tommy, the engine and tranny are back in, in that pic

you can save more weight too with a manual rack and pinion and lose some parasitic loss on the engine. May not be something to look into for corner carving but extra weight off the front for drag racing would be cool too. Now with some aluminum heads, relocate the battery to the back and a fiberglass hood. That could be another 100 lbs or so I would imagine. Sweet deal.

Red vert, car is looking good with that k member on it.

^ thanks, there's also alot more to be had with tubular arms and coilover. I'm not sure if the twisty scenario will stay, so I haven't gotten into them yet.

I have the alum heads and am not worried too much about parasitic loss. The K's also give you the option of a 1" motor set back.

Also some issues I have heard about the K's are though that chrome moly is brittle and not suited to a street car very well. If its a DD mild steel is better from what I understand.
