Default spray vs turbo

just a few questions about the two

which one wears out a motor faster?
which one has a better power gain?
which one is more prone to breaking down/acting up?
how hard is it to tune a carb'd 302 for one of these application's?

Answers:

1.) The one with the more aggressive tuneup.
2.) Usually the turbo combo.
3.) See answer number one.
4.) Fairly easy, both ways.

I don't know which way to vote, I have a N2O 347, and a turbo 302. They both haul ass, they both make cool noises.

It's always good for an excuse when you loose a race too. (Damn...I forgot to open my bottle)

With that being said, I run the bottle on my 67 carbed motor. I put on NOS's un-adjustable 125 kit. It took all the guesswork out of it and made it nearly impossible to mess it up. Been running it for years now and never a problem.

I've replaced motors to increase HP, but never because of engine failure.

The 125 shot took my car from mid 12's to low 11's before I changed to the 351w.....Then it was a low 12 car off the bottle, and a mid 10 car on the bottle.

Not bad for just over $360. Try THAT with a turbo.

ok well with all that being said. how monay lbs of boost can a stock motor handle, and how much spray can it handle.

now if im not mistaken, i remember it was tiffiny that did that 2 stage 300 shot at the track and didnt blow the motor. but that was one run though.

Nitrous is my vote, massive torque on demand. Get the tune wrong on either and it will look like someone got into your engine with a plasma cutter.
