Either way having the car hook and run straight at the track is all part of the complete set-up. Some people just do not understand that 1000+ horsepower does not mean shit if you cant hook it up. I would rather have 600 and hook. You would probably run about the same e.t.!
I bet that $50K bid was placed by someone they know.
I dont want to seem like a dick here so I will bow out from the discussion for now. Best of luck to them !

Plus James has been doing this for a VERY long time and he does know what he is doing. He isnt new to the business.

1st off some people seem to be very defensive to his car when no one is realy atacking it. In the write up for the sale he says he never came across any problems which is not true. We all agree that he has had several probles as anyone would with a drag car. I will be the 1st to admit I have had a shit load of problems with my car and that just a 11sec car. But he also says that it is the fastest production cobra. That is not exactly true I would believe it if he were to be getting that power out of the original motor not a create motor. Either way the car is bad ass and if I wanted to buy a ready made race car I would try to pick it up. But I like most other people would like to do it them selves in stages.

Have you ever heard of a poster shot ? Kind of like the Chevelle in the Flowmaster ad that is standing on the rear bumper with all FOUR tires off of the ground.
Anyway like Mike said no one is attacking the guy but dont write a bunch of B.S. to sell the car. Most people with the kind of money you would need to spend to buy this car will see right through the smoke and mirrors. You guys are to easy to impress!

Maybe he is the man but if so why have I never seen the car in competition or running consistantly at the track ? Just asking questions so dont anyone get all pissed off now ya here.
ahh the front left torque. i really dont care either way on the car sure its nice and fast. I just thought it was a great oppurtunity for me to be a smartass...lol
