I know thanks. The interaction of tire sizes, gears and stall are a little confusing.

Bingo. Selecting gear/tire ratios should be based off of max rpm, peak hp rpm, and tranny ratios.

Unfortunatley I can only base rpm/HP/tq on speculation and desktop dyno. Maybe I can get someone to break it in and dyno it before I get it in the car.

With my set up I cross the line at about 6800-6900and I definatly have 3.70s with a 28in tire but its a heavy car thats under geared and still pulling at 6800. I know i need 4.10s but that would shoot me immediatly into the 9s.
I think with 4.10s your going to definatly cross the stripe ( in the 1/4) about 7200

Negative.. Im putting 28x10.5's . BFH and trim / rolled lip of fender

Duration:
Intake 294 Advertised 234 at 50deg cam

Valve timing at .50 cam lift:
Intake opens 13 Closes 49
Exhaust Opens 49 Closes 8


Timing number indicate 4deg advance 164deg intake C/L
