Default Engine Bay Smoothing...

Who's got it, who's done it? What'd you pay, how'd you do it? Photos would be nice

Looking to get my firewall smoothed out and my fender rails between the fire wall to strut tower and from the strut tower to the header panel

Welder + the time it would take for me to figure it out (welding) = way worse than paying someone else to do it... Or getting someone to come w/their OWN welder and schooling me on it & I'd of course make it worth their time ($)!

I had done /\ on my old car myself. But I was also working out of a fully equipped shop in Chattanooga, TN; my grandfather and uncle have an automotive upholstery shop there and have breaks, pipe benders, welders, etc - so it was easy to take the dive and try it myself.

Here, at my home, with little to no tools & no supervision....... [Borat] Not so much! [/Borat]

I love the way the aluminum looks, but if you have ever been in a car that has sheet metal interior, you'll do like Frank done his and Dynomat it and carpet it. That shit is NOISY

For the most part its not too hard Josh... While learning you get mad grinder skills then the welding skills come later.
Seriosly though most of it is just tacking more that welding. Like $hawn was saying its time consuming because you have to jump around so the metal doesnt get too hot and warp
