Don't know yet if I got it fixed or not. I took the motor out of the car before it happened again. But I think mine had something to do with my car. It did it with my MSD dizzy and also with a stock dizzy. I was eating up TFI modules though.

I took the motor out and found something interesting out. The oil pump in the motor locked up taking every single bearing in the motor out. I kept running the motor cause I thought I caught the no oil fast enough that it didnt take any bearings out. So I was driving the car around till I had only 15 psi of oil pressure at idle thats when I decided to take the motor out. I have a theory as to why mine might have been having a problem. The cam shaft had about .030" end play while it should of only had .009" so the cam was walking back and forth alot in the motor. May have been why mine was eating stuff up. Sounds like a long shot I know but I have checked all my grounds and even swapped out computers and still was eating them up. New motor should be in soon and we will have to see how things go.

 

Electrical gremlins SUcKS ASS!! My voltage regulater on my 86 stang was bad (shorted to ground) 2 shifter cables later (Cheetah shifter) found the problem. who would of thunk

 

Over a month later and 4 Distributors i got one that didnt die within 20 mins. At least they took care of me. Alot better CS then i expected from them.. I did notice this pickup were a different color then the others where ..Now im kinda scared to install my 6AL box LoL.

 

Glad you got that thing fixed. Maybe now you will bring your car out.
