new to the whole ford,thing but anyways i have a 2000 ford lighting and the prob im havin is that the odometer light keeps goin out and then theres a blank where the miles should be. and if i tap on the cluster the reading comes back idk,if anyone has come across this issue before but any help would be greatly appreciated.... thankyou also what years did they come with eaton chargers? or did they all.

might be a loose wire. DSM tuner I found out that if Im down a very veyr dark road with like no lights on I can almost see the milage. Almost like the light behind it is loose? might want to check that as well.
Ford and their wonderful clusters. I'm on my third one in my Lincoln. Dome light would come on at random. The only way to stop it was to roll the dimmer all the way off which meant I couldn't see any of my display..dash, radio, a/c, etc (I drive with my lights on, so it's even dimmer) in the day time. Then they replaced the switch..did nothing..found out it was the entire cluster. Ford sent in one for a work truck or something, and it yelled at me if I drove over 120kph. WTF?! Had to order another cluster, and they just put it in and it seems to work. They had it up to 85mph and it was fine..120khp is right at 74mph.

Yeah its an eaton m112.Different inlet elbow then cobra though
99-00 made less power due to 80mm maf,and less agressive tune.In reality basic bolt ons is the max,they all have powdered rods.As long as you dont get greedy with the tune you'll be safe.But a maf upgrade is needed to really play safe with all the bolt on's.
