Default MSD Distributor

Ive bought a MSD Distributor for my 93 302 stang. Put it in soon as the engine got hot or about 15 miles or so my car shut down. I smell a electrical burn. So after pulling the coil wire seein spark goin to the the Distributor i knew it were either the TFI module or the stator were bad swaped both nuffin. So i put old OE back in no probs and retuned the MSD and got another one.. Well put it in 30miles this time WTF same prob. Im runnin MSD blaster Coil and no Box any ideas? Or am i just unlucky gettin shit Distributors?

Make sure all of your ground straps are intact-- body to motor straps.
Dont know if any has been removed or not but missing ones will kill alternators and ignitions HTH

I called MSD they said they had a run of BAD pickups so i had them drop ship me one instead of just exchanging them from the same place i bought mine hopefully this one will be a good one.
