how the hell do you get a closed circle box end wrench around a cable that is connected at both ends?

omg mars, that snakes through the frame in at least two places before it even gets close to the parking brake! thats a whole lot of work to slide a wrench on to an e-brake cable...lol

or jusy grab a old 1/2 and cut a channel in the box end part with the cut off wheel and go to town

Good Greif. The last time I pulled a rear end the e brake cables came off with it. Hence the ease with which they are removed. One 10mm bolt and Boom there is is. Slide that box in there and have some fun.

OK thanks guys for all the help. Now for some more questions.

Ok it looks like Im going to go with a 5 lug conversion on my car now as a last minute decision.

Right now Im running 4 lug cobra replicas with a rear size of a 17x10 with a 275 40 tire. If I go with Prostars, should I go with 15x10 or 15x8 and what would be the correct backspace? Also what size tire would be the best?

For converting the front, Ive heard that the lincoln mark 5's (or whatever they are) front rotors will work on the fox. Is this true? Im going to be running a 15x3 1/5 on the front.

My cobras will be up for sale with all tires plus 2 extra tires so if anyone is interested before I put them up let me know.

Thanks for the help.

yes lincoln rotors will fit. Bad is the hub will not fit any "stock mustang 5 lug wheels." you will be fine using welds. 10" look much nicer but I am not sure of backspacing.
