Spotted a wierd thing this afternoon browsing cars on eBay. Why do y'all suppose this intake manifoild is installed backwards?

So I'm not crazy!! I emailed the dude to see if he would shed some light...stay tuned!! And what is it about this car that people are bidding $7500 already?

 

Maybe somebody manufactured it wrong and he got a discount on it HAH I dont know..

 

maybe he's using the throttle linkage and crap from a t-bird?

Q: Curious as to why the intake manifold is backwards. How far are you from Holland MI? I will be there on business Thursday & Friday...Thanks! Oct-24-06 A: The intake is on backwards so the hood (STOCK SVO) will fit without ANY mod - If it was in the normal Mustang 5.0 position the hood would not close. I did not want a cheezy looking hood I'm about 3 hrs from Holland - I'm in a suburb of Detroit.

 

Wow. Just wow.

If hes worried about cheesy looks then hes got a whole crate load of cheese in that engine bay.

 

Either way the car looks pretty nice
