Why is this intake backwards?

Maybe he used to own a Crown Vic and thought the mustang intake was backwards.

you guys are tools... everyone knows when you run a kick ass cold air intake like that you have to run your intake in the other direction.... it improves airflow....

Thats the Trick of that intake. It goes on backwards. Seriously, Ive seen that on one other car. Wolverines (Willie i think his name is) Turbo 347. His was like that cause the turbo system design I suppose. Ill try to find pix of it.

nice, on the coral there are a couple of guys who also flip there intakes and run intercoolers on the Vortech and Novi 2000 in the 87-93 stangs.

A better question is why he spent money a trick flow intake manifold then cheaped out and used a home made intake. Seriously duct tape and gutter hose, that's shat.
