Default 04 Cobra Tuning / Opinion needed

I just got the car ... came with SLP loudmouth2 catback, stock h pipe and 2.8 pulley/slp and JLT cold air intake and predator tuner, but for some reason the tune that was in the car was cutting at 5500 rpms, so lamada performance in Orlando used SCT to fix it. Car runs good now boosting around 13 ... probably just a base map, so I would like to get a custom tune.

Does anyone know/recommend Welcome :: Sniper Tuning ? A friend of mine says he's happy with the results on his 04 cobra, but wondering if I should just go to coastal dyno instead ...

Thanks

Ive never heard of the other place, but I would take it to Coastal Dyno. Thats the only place Ive ever gone to and never had a bad experience. Good luck.

I haven't used them yet, but I plan too, but I've been told for the Tampabay area Ramsey Performance is a good place to go. Ramseys Performance-Tampa Bay Florida-Mustang Automotive Performance,Parts,Service

Lamotta Performance in Longwood is the shop. Never been there but Jake Lamotta is well established in the mustang world.

I talked to a few tuners today and honestly none of them convinced me that the extra driving would be worth it for me, so I am going to try Sniper and also because a friend of mine that has 04 cobra went to Sniper and from what he told me his current tune is better (put out better numbers than his previous tune with Jake) I'v heard good things about Jake though.

Pat from Sniper said I'll be able to use my predator, so that helps me on $$$. I'll post my opinion once I get it tuned over the weekend hopefully.

[QUOTE=PSMBoXer;3500185] a friend of mine that has 04 cobra went to Sniper and from what he told me his current tune is better (put out better numbers than his previous tune with Jake) QUOTE]

one tuner can make a "better" turn then the other....there are many factors that can attribute to that. air/fuel being the key. sure you can get more power, but how safe do you want a tune and how long do you want to keep that motor? weather and different dynos also play a role in this equation. good luck and keep us posted!!!
