I had a ex 4cyl that we converted and when we used the 4cyl springs all around it would launch just fine. I would try the above mentioned struts and shocks and take it to the track.

You don't want your rear suspension to "squat" at all. Squating reduces load on the tires and since there's no load you'll spin. Stock rear springs are fine. The rear shocks are about a 50/50 rates. Save your money and get some 90/10's on the front to match your 4cyl springs. If you can take as much weight off the front of the car as possible. -Mark

Squatting = loosing momentum that could be used to propell the car foward ...

Foxbody or not for weight transfer you want the nose to lift not nose to lift and rear to squat. Think about it, stand up with your knees locked, then very quickly squat down to your feet. There is less pressure on your feet when you are in the process of squating. Same thing in drag racing. -Mark

You know what you are all right. I have no idea how to get a good 60ft. Disregard my advice. Have fun cutting 1.7's. -Mark
