Default Thinking out loud on lean condition

Well, I have no money to do anything to the car for a while and I need to figure out why it's leaning out from 6,200rpm and up. If I can figure out what I need to do before hand, I can better plan my budget when the time comes. I only wish it were the tune alone but I don't think that's the case.

I calculated my injector duty cycle (I said duty) for my current power output and it recommended 50# for a 80% duty cycle. If I lower that percentage a bit it hits close to 60#. How close is that to being true?

Another factor is my MAF. It's a 80mm Lightning unit without an extender on it. Maybe the air isn't being metered correctly?

Anyone care to take some hip shots with me? I'm bored at work and need to do something to keep my mind working....

Almost forgot to post the dyno graphs.

This one is from a year ago:

This one is from Sam's shop (same exact setup as above but at different elevation):

i've read that clocking your maf to where the meter is horizontal in the tube changes how it reads air flow.... no personal experience or dyno findings, but it couldn't hurt.

Does your fuel pressure drop off as RPM/boost rise?
Not that I've seen. I need a data logger or something. Shit happens too fast. Agree on the rich mixture around 5k. You can see the power loss around that RPM in the top graph. I want that smoothed out and a little richer up high. I was concerned about it because Sam was. He stopped the pull...

I'll take a spin at lunch and watch that fuel pressure.

I'm running an intercooler so the maf is in the fender facing down. Not sure how to judge proper position in this case.

I've read about many people clocking their MAF 1/4 turn until stalling or rich conditions were corrected after installing a CAI.

*edit*

Made a couple of second gear sprints getting on various 275 ramps.
2nd went too fast but I noticed a couple of things. My fuel pressure gets a little bouncy higher in the RPM's but it never fell below 50#'s. I'm actually making right at 10# of boost around 6,200 RPM which would slightly explain the leaning out. I couldn't get my eyes on the wideband fast enough to see what it was reading but I'll bet around 12.5:1.

The car was running stock heat range plugs so I bought some NKG's that were one range colder about 2 weeks ago.
This is what my #1-4 plugs looked like:

Click to see a larger image. The flash made them whiter but it's clearly running lean. #5-8 looked the exact same.

I thought the single aviator would be enough. Guess I can add another one.

Would you say the injectors are ruled out at this point?
