easy go to the shops and talk to the Guys then go into the shop area see how many cars like yours they are currently working on, I say Ramsey's or Coastal depending where you are. I use Ramsey's for tuning and such and Fox Lake or DSS for engine stuff. They do a Real nice motor that most of the pro guys use. I'm going to be using a DSS bottom end with a set of Fox Lake Heads and lower. and have ramsey's set it up.My buisness Partner just got done with a 35k Custom Street Rod with them and they did a great job on everything, the car had been through a few shops before and the other shops didnt compare by far.

really you cant go wrong with any of the shops around here... there all great.

I've had james at race related do most of all my work so I'm gona be bias to him of course.. but I really dont see you going wrong.

I think were all pretty good at we do,some cater more to the mod motors than others.In 98 I had a 10 second 4V,in 2001 I had a 9 second 4V,and am now on a quest to campaign a Pro 5.0 4V car in 2006.Opinions do vary but as far as the mod motors are concerned we strive to be the best.Anything we can do give us as shout.

+1 to race related,james and his crew are really great people,and do a hell of a job,and they take good care of ya,what surprised me the most was his crew knowledge and how quickly they get things done and right the first time,and you really cant beat their pricing..i live in tampa and go to his shop just to have them work on it.

i've had good experiance with all the mentioned shops....

+1 for Chad & Jeff down at Blue Oval Corral
+1 for Sam down at Coastal Dyno
+1 for James at Race Related

i have had very good experiance with Chad at blue oval, he has been a joy to deal with and helps you out as much as possible. plus when your a good customer he will deffinaty be a good dealer. also Sam is a great man, he may look like a 12 yr old boy but he is a smart Mofo.........
