Turn your c4 into a 6 speed?

The Copperhead project on Trucks! has one. He demonstrated how it worked in the show. There was a button to activate the overdrive.

Its so fucking expensive, I'll just pay for the extra gas. Plus, its about a foot long, and that's going to do wonders for your driveline angles.

Its just a shorter drive shaft I would think thats better......

I saw the video on another site of trucks, It looked weird to shift down...Shifting down then pressing the button>>? Wouldnt that put you in a lower gear then the button lil confusing but looks bad ass. Hmmmm Might have to see some more feed back before I even consider trying it.

Yeah, its a shorter driveshaft, but that's going to cause your U-joint angles to get out of whack because the driveshaft has a 1' shorter length to connect the "tranny" to the rear end.

you could probably adjust that with dropped motor mounts if the angle it too high.

The driveshaft will be about a foot shorter. You'd have to notch the pan to sit over the K-member to align that.
