dont for a second believe that the power valve protection thing really works, had one and it still blew a pv every time it backfired, good concept but the hole for the check ball is too small to vent pressure spikes at a backfire.

OK...here's where I am at....the car runs awesome now....
replaced front squirter from original 28 to a 25
rear squirter is 32 and I am leaving it alone
front jets from #66 to #69
rear jets from #73 to #74
Lokar linkeage and return springs assembly also adjusted nicely. The carb is running nicely....response is very nice........

you might have to change the accel pump cam it may to big we have a 750 dp on a 351 with rebuilt heads 11.5:1 comp, edelbrock manifold, and we had a problem with the same thing and i put a smaller accel pump cam and the problem went a way, a yeah by the way its it a 73 ford f-100 witha c6 and i'v out run a few stang with it
