Default Gears?

What gears do you guys think would be better 4.10's or 3.73's? I have a 95 mustang GTS with the manual tranny, 306 ,heads, cam, intake, exhaust,....... I had 3.73's in my last car and it felt pretty strong. Fuel economy is somewhat of a concern so 4.10's mgiht be out of the question. Let me here your guys input. Thanks

What kind of powerband does this car have? Where does it make its peak, etc? 4.10s may not even help if your making plenty of low end.

Well right now 1st and 2nd are fine but when I shift to third it just gets right out of the power band. I dont know exactly where my power is at seeing as I havnt dynoed the car because I want to get the gears first.

i have put many sets of gears in cars your best bet would be to go with 3:73. 4:10 is a little much for a daily driven 5.0.. i work over at race related if you have any questions just call 727-561-9440
