I would have triple checked things before using the enforcer to move that pesky sheet metal out of the way. (hammer)

You could always fab some pieces.

The instructions said to use a hammer

Then they said I might have to "clearance" it more if it didn't fit.. But yeah, I did kind of feel bad for beating the shit out of it.. well, not really

Something is just wrong when they tell you to damage your car.

I think a dremel would work on that. Cut the ugliness away....

Keep the posts coming. You working on it all weekend?

Default HP kit

JDK,don't get frustrated, many mistakes will happen that way, would be glad to reconstruct to avoid any further hammering or relieving of chassis components, and lastly the turbo on the driver side looks like the cartridge needsto be inverted 180,the supply is on the bottom from my vantage point.

Just my 2

I find the best thing when installing this stuff is find a really good welder and become his best friend. I have about $1200 just in welding on my motor and fuel stuff. But hey it fits like a glove.

Install CD? I'm out of the loop I guess

Thanks for all of the support/advice guys. I've got a few more ideas I'm going to try tomorrow. I made a post about the fitment issues on turbomustangs.com which got the attention of Jimmy from HP, so I will see what we can work out. I'm hoping that the fit of the kit isn't so bad that something needs to be modified, but we will see.

And yeah.. I'll be working on it all weekend, till I get it running, one way or the other.

Pat, are you planning on installing the kit yourself?

I plan on doing most of it myself. Also, they gave me a CD on the install. I haven't checked it out though. I will copy it and get it to you, if you want.
