Default electric fan question?

Hey guys got a question for ya. I just got a electric fan off e-bay from a ford tauras for my 92 coupe.I was stupid and didnt read the fine print which said that it came from a 3.0 liter. From what i have read i should have gotten one from a 3.8 liter.Know here is the question, would a 3.0 liter fan be sufficient enough to keep my fairly stock 5.0 cool.I have talked to a few people who said i would not have a problem with the 3.o liter fan unless i put a power adder on.I plan on controlling it with a dcc control box.Any input or suggestions would be great thanks guys!!

I don't know about the fan. I run a SN95 fan with the DCC box and love it. If I could do it over I would get the DCC box that will also run an electric water pump.

I have the same thing on my GT. The DC control box is the best bang for the buck and the easiest to hook up.
