Damn Derek. I'm so sorry to hear that. Its like watching a wife or kid get killed. You've put so much time and effort and money just to blow it all in a couple of seconds
I think you should find a chassis car to put your motor and tranny in. It may cost a bit more, but at least it will go straight.
Sorry man.

that's what I'm thinking of doing, just weighing options at this point.. My wife and I have a child due in June so I'm not sure what will take place this year.. we'll see..

You know Derek, its tough to tell from the pics, but you may be able to put new sheetmetal on that side and fix it. It sounds stupid, but considering the money and time you've got invested in the chassis, it may be a financially sound decision. I can't possibly imagine what you feel like though
I was just courious if you noticed an ambulance being out there when you got to the track or did they call one in for your accident. From what I have heard, there is nomore ambulance. Just an EMT in his personal vehicle.

The EMT came up in a Jeep when I wrecked, not in a ambulance.. Which I find kind of strange. When Gauss wrecked they had to call an ambulance out..
Might be a good question to send to Dave @ BMP.
Dave,
I honestly haven't gotten a chance to look at the chasis, so i'm not sure if/how bad it's bent.. We've been having some issues with the car going straight as of recently, might be better off to start from scratch with a chasis we know to be in good condition. Right now I'm not sure if I'm going to sell the motor, etc.. and just build a street car, or if I'm going to start from a new platform.. We'll see, I want to give it some time to sink in first.. LIke I said, I've got a child due in 4 months, so it's not like I'll have the money right away..
