Wow Derek sorry that happened to you, thats one of those things we all think won't happen to us but when you're making that much power it doesn't take much to get out of hand quick. Glad to hear you're ok, good luck with the rebuild. I really need to think more about safety equipment before I go any faster.

Honestly man, street cars that are fast but drivable are where its at. WIth 2 kids, you won't have time to run in any series races. Just have a fast car that you can cruise to dinner or to a car show on a saturday, and throw on a trailer and head to Bradenton. That's what my goal is with my V8 car.

sorry to hear that, i saw you run at track day and was very impressed, sad to see that nice of a car go down, like everyone has said, its replacable. Look at the story you have for your kid when your older. "back in the day i had my 8 second 5.0 mustang, i remember when i was makin a pass and it bulled to the left and I ended up nailing the wall at over 100 mph

I gotta agree, insane fast street cars are the shit. How sick would that be to have an 8 second Mustang thats has decent driveability and still has a full interior and ac? Maybe even on drag radials, thats what I'm shooting for. I love Mike Murrilo's street car, all he needs to do is put the AC back on.
