That was one nasty ride Derek. You should have seen what it looked like from the starting line. I thought you were goning to end up on the roof when I saw your car up on the guardrail.
Like everyone else said, we can always build a new car, it's more important that you are OK. We'll get it figured out in the coming weeks. It's just such a shame for it to happen now. We were just starting to get the car figured out. I'll get in touch with ya.
On a side note, if you need a chassis to put your drivetrain in, mine is always available.

The thing that caught me off guard was how fast everything happened and how disoriented I was. I was surprised that I ended up around the finish line, albeit facing the wrong way..
Now more than ever I'll tell you that the safety equipment saved my ass.. and Scott should make sure that he has everything he needs and then some with the power he's going to make.
Joe, thanks again for all of the help. Sorry that all of the thrash work was in vain. I'll weigh my options over the next week or so and let you know what I decide.. I'll still have a toy, just don't know what form it's going to take yet

Glad your ok Derrek,sorry about your car bro.Just keep your mind on your kid being born and it will take some of the disapointment away.You can always build another car,but cherrish every moment while your baby grow's and is born.Nothing can replace that bro.Bryan

Good god Derek. So glad that you are alright. It is just a machine that can be replaced with something better. Just a question though how much tire pressure were you running, and do you use limiters?

Yes there are limiters on the car and the tire pressure was set at 11psi.
