Using that logic then I guess a 109mm mass air meter would work just as good right?

I understand what you are saying but there is such a thing as too big even with mass air meters. The air velocity has nothing to do with what is being metered, the air is still going to have less velocity going through the bigger meter. I specifically remember dyno tests that where done with different meters and the larger ones had made less tq because of this reason.

$20 please :bbb:

if a 5000mm air meter could correctly meter the air, it would be fine - its that simple, not 80mm has proven to work fine, however for a stock app, you could get a less expensive meter than a pro-m.

Jesus, so your going to tell me that speed density cars make no torque? They dont even have a meter.

Sometimes you get me, but I think im right on this one - Ill let you pay me in coupla-fuckins.

If you don't get the proper percentage of air through the sampling area, the car won't run right.

Whether they can insure you get the right percentage of air through it I have no idea.
Very good point.

Not much cheaper than that.

To tell you the truth, Briane and I both had heard the same things. We both preferred Pro-M (speaking for briane), but his car actually ran the best with the C&L that it came with.

I've had a couple C&L's and a couple ProM's over the years and never had any problems with either one until recently when I tried 2 different blow through ProM meters and they both made my car run horrible, I'm using a C&L 76 right now and it works great.
