If you want to do it the cheap and easy way you could take the 9K from selling your truck, and toss in another 1K and be years and thousands of dollars ahead of doing it yourself, by buying mine!

Agreed with rubberneck on this one, Plan ahead on everything you do, just spent over a 1000 dollars on suspension and gearing its all worth it as well.

full exhaust, gears, Chassis, get a stout shortblock, mass air, intake, throttlebody, Heads prefereably Brodix/AFR, Make sure you DONT skimp on your cam for the money it takes for a custom grind it is worth it.... camshaft is the brain of your engine and is worth the 300 dollars after thousands are spent to make sure you get the right one or a custom grind

Nah the point of me buying this car is to mod it myself, i just need alil guidance so i dont waste my cash.

Well, ive seen a procharger for only 3.2k so then i can spend the rest in suspension and body stiffening stuff (dont know jack shit about all this stiffening the body stuff) Like i said im a newb at working on cars i just have a great intrest in them.

Exhaust, mufflers, etc. is the first thing i need so i will be upgrading that first.

After that comes the suspension and shit.....

Then ill prolly grab the SC and maybe a few other small things (by that time i will have a job with a decntly steady income)

Thanks for your help guys, but if anyone has some NEWBIE instructions for this suspension stuff and all that it would be greatly appreciated!

I would suggest looking around the classifieds both here and on www.corral.net for a supercharger. With everyone going turbo people are almost giving them away.

Also go to corral and spend a few days with the search engine and reading old threads and you will learn a lot more than you will asking questions one at a time.

Do you own a Torch Red FRC and tremble every time you drive under I75 on Hwy 60 and look in your rearview mirror? If so you are suffering from what is known as Cobraphobia.

get some subframe connectors. you can get a set and have them installed for less than 100 at many of the shops around here.

the torque boxes need some stiffening. get a set of battle boxes or have the stock ones welded up and call it a day.

and if your going to have 500 or so HP, get a cage put in the car while its all apart, then paint it the color of the car to do it right.

get a good suspension, like upper and lower control arms, coil overs, etc. you could even go crazy and get somthing like a 4 link or ladder bar suspension. do your hw and know exactly what it is you want out of the car.

this is just scratching the surface. do as much hw on this as you do the motor stuff and then youll be set. otherwise your just going to twist your frame and your car will leak like a fucking hose around the windows and things. and you def dont want that after all this work, lol
