U guys are lucky the fucing thing blew up and down,if it would of exploded side to side there could of been some injuries.That's why they make shatter proof belhousings.

Stock T5's are not very strong. And with 100,000 plus the sucker was lucky to still be shifting - period. And without a scattershield someone is lucky they didn't lose a body part or two. I think the things are only rated for 280 - 300 lbs or torque new. Plus the thing had probably been overshifted with the stock shifter a couple hundred times. Put a Tremec in it and a good solid bellhousing. You need your feet to drive a stick
