Default NO more ford

just found out i can get a honda to run 10's with full interior and only lose some of my gas milage all for cheaper then it would cost a mustang to run 10's.....

https://www.tamparacing.com/forums/s...hreadid=157099
"don't get me wrong a nice car is a nice car put time and effort into it and it'll move... but a civic can go faster on less money and better economy than any mustang I've seen. for the price of the cobra the honda will be running 10's and still get 25+ mpg. with a full audio system."

"I drive hard on my car with a jdm b16 swap, as for engine mods I hav minor bolt ons, dc sports exhaust, removed cat, aem short ram intake, aem adjustable cam gears, msd coil, ngk spark plugs, denso iridium plugs. when I drive in city and rev frem 4.5k to 7.5k I still get 28mpg, and now with easier driving I get over 30 in city, I have also seen 40mpg on the hwy. so yes a 10s daily driver is and has been done, and when done right you will loose some economy but not that much, especially when compared to some domestic gas guzzler that is lucky to see 28mpg on the hwy."

I dont hate hondas i used to own one and would get another one but know that a full interior 10 sec honda would not be cheap nor get good gas mileage.

i've owned 4 hondas from civic hatchbacks to accords none of witch got 28miles in the city and as for 10 sec quarters, yeah right my accord had 475hp and 368ft lbs. of torque on a h22a turbo and the lowest i ever got was 11.7(without slicks and over 30K invested) and a full 13 gallon tank would maybe and i mean MAYBE last 150 miles

True, but also depends on efficiency.
