donkey kong................i love my stang! its not a daily thing so if i get 3.5 miles to the gallon i dont give a fuck as long as it is a fast 3.5 miles.

Going on the assumption that i can: How much would it take to make a Mustang run 10s? I'm not saying this kid is anything more than a tard, but i'd still like to see the numbers and figure it out for myself. I'm not trying to invade your forum or get into an import v. domestic arguement, i'm genuinely interested in this little debate. Thanks in advance.

 

depends on what year...03 cobra...slap a kb and some mirnor stuff..you are looking at 30k if you get a used one for 25k...you can pick up a fox for 4-5k and im sure with 10k you can have tens..depends on what type of setup..and gas mileage? cmon..civics dont get 40 mpg stock yet alone modified

 

Well, I'm gonna have about 6K in my notch, which includes the car and a lot of things I didn't need to do but wanted to do, and it should hit 10s fairly easily.

 

10's in a mustang is faily cheap, now 10;s in a mustang and being reliabe, isnt as cheap, but its damn sure cheaper than a honda could ever dream about.


most import guys would dissagree but i still stand by my word of "more dissplacement will go faster" Now this isnt always true, but if you take a 2 motors. a 1.8L and a 5.0 L BONE STOCK(long block) put the same turbo on them, same fuel mods, same boost. Which one is going to make more power?

 

I completely agree, i'm a Honda person and i think he's being a douche. HOWEVER, i'm not sure which one would be cheaper to build. I'd figure for about 7000 you could have Honda running low 11s-HIGH 10s.

 

Of course, mod for mod, more displacement > less displacement. I've always agreed with that, even when you have dumbasses saying "Duh, boost is the replacement for displacement" *smack* Obviously if you boost the engine with more displacement you'll get more power. /Rant.

 

I'm going to run 10's in my Focus, LOL.
