Just for reference, my car made 310/310 with GT-40's on a mild 306. You really shouldn't dump money into the old heads. Try to find a deal, there are plenty out there, especially at NMRA. People don't want to cart their shit home so they'll deal.

first a dooe head is 1970 c8 would be 68 the 70 head 65cc i think only289 heads were58cc and if they are58cc you do not need to cut them unless you need more than 10:1 compression. i have a set of 68 or69 302 heads professionally ported by champion head service in jax. with windsor size valves this is the best chamber design for flow of the older heads if you want stock type heads .351heads flow better than 302 heads 69 351 heads being the best. but the chamber is bigger losing comp. unless milled.i also have a set of 289 heads. all are for sale cheap. 352-666-4575 barry

oh yeah my 87 mustang ran 11.70s @117 on yes 69 351windsor heads 302 with trw 12:1 pistons c4 10.70 @ 125 on 150shot the only nitrous pass we made at the track

I had a set of DooE 70's windsor heads lined up 3 angle valve job 1.60 1.94 vavles double springs d ported and cleaned but they magnafluxed them right b4 I was about to buy and they found a crack and he told me the truth and didnt dick me over.I need the car to run better then it did i dont have 1k to dump into heads right now.I just wanna know some other options oh yea show I like that deal for 100 bucks man hit me up on aim.

Barry send info on the 351 heads 3-8 stud sprak plug inserts?
