i just drove an 04 GT (auto) my friend is getting one...... they do have the metal intake, but its not a bullit intake its just a metal version of the plastic one......
as far as beating a lightning....... i'd say if you can get your hands on some dr's or slicks you can get him for sure......
or if the lightning driver sucks and you are good you can get him, but you are out-powerd a little........
