Forget suspension, just get some 315 nittos. If that doesn't do anything for you after a while, I heard mickey thompson has some sticky tires

Thanks everybody for the post. Right now it has a k@n filter, borla cat back exhaust, and a 180 degree thermostat. When I get my tax returns I am getting a crank pulley that adds 6 psi and a chip but I dont know what chip there are so many of them. I was looking at the predator, but does that replace my chip or does it plug in and I tune it from there.

it plugs in and you can return back to stock any time, imo its better than a chip thats why I have one....just adding nittos wont help as much as doing it the right way, and slicks can break some stuff if you dont upgrade enough, hope this helps

if it bone stock i suguest a quick tune up part that goes by the name PULLEY!!!! my supervisor has an 02' and put a pulley and crap on it so now its making like 16lbs of boost!!!!! once you do that though you will be wanting a good suspension cause one you get more power in em they dont hook worth a shit on stock parts.

also a good choice going from the rice to da domestic muscle.

380 hp and 450 tq... for an 02 L... And it all depends on how much you can handle. 16 lbs of boost on a stock bottom end on a L is pushing its limits. 12-14 lbs is pretty much a safe bet with a good tune... buy a 4 # pulley and get a chip and buy a performance valve body. And you will be into 12's with a good driver. Get a set of Nitto Drag Radials and a CAI and you will be into 12's with an average driver. Get boost by-pass and a S/B T/B and you will be in 12's with a terrible driver. Hope this helps..

Make sure you get the truck dyno tuned (diablo chip). The motor can handle 15psi if it dosen't detonate but that supercharger isn't going to last long. I run 12psi mostly and the truck is still super fast but I have run with 15psi no problems. Those Nittos make the biggest difference and the pully's are the cheap go fast parts. An open filter is a great mod and with the higher boost it sounds so sweet.

Taylor wires? The new Lightnings don't need spark plug wires man. They have coil packs and a completely diff. ignition system than the older 351 Lightnings. These mod motors don't need spark plug wires.

It really varies. I've seen them run 14's stock - but usually with horrible 60fts, but most likely with the mods you have now in the mid 13's on street tires. Getting good times really does depend on the launch in these things. I've seen lots of "supra" like 1/4 mi et's/mph (13.5 @111mph for example)with these trucks due to people getting a lot of power but either not knowing how launch it properly or not getting suspension work done.

When you add the 6lb pulley and get it tuned - you should easily get into the 12's with some practice.
