ignition problem

I just thought of something else - do you have the right plug in the hole? Don't some of them have more shallow shoulders (or something like that) than others. Of course, if you changed plugs, the odds of that happening twice are nill.

If a coil pack is bad chances are you are going to lose 2 cylinders. That doesnt sound like it is your problem cause the computer would have sent a different code. You may want to check the injectors also I assume that the plug was gaped correctly?

plug is gapped correct, tried 3 differnt plugs, autolite, motorcraft and the ngks that are in there now........


the never seize wasnt used, ... i know your supposed to use it on aluminum heads, but what can i say, never got around to picking some up...........


as far as a vaccum leak, that could be, but wouldnt it drop all of the cylinders,???? why only #2???

i'm going to swap some injectors around tonight and inspect for damage to them.............
