got it working tonight. just pulled the cd player apart and put it back together, put in a new fuse, and it works.

Cool, if you have time sometime and find out if there's a built in amp. I would suggest re-wiring it without the amp. Ford got a little excited with in-line ground wires on that setup ehheh. And the amp isn't even close to comparible to today's headunit built in amps anyways .

id say ot was grounded out............. if its grounded its gonna blow the fuse everytime, no matter what.............

i had a alpine alarm installed. and there is no black box in there. so if there was, they probably took it out.

i had ave put it in a whil ago, and theyran the proximity wires through there into my center console. so they saw it. and those guys know what they are doing. saved my ass a few times. just didnt want to ask again. and i needed to find out what is was this time.
