I'm a big fan of Edelbrock heads. They perform quite well right out of the box, and are priced nicely. We used the Performer RPM 1.80's combined with my 306, E303, and ported GT-40 intake. The car would pull right along with a Z06 up until about 100 (limited by traffic and road conditions)...not too shabby for a pig convertable with a shitbox AOD.

THe 185s are a good head, might be too much for a stock motor, but something to grow into. Edlebrock makes good heads as well as the TFS heads.. Do some research, see what others are running with comparable builds..
