Accords and most Hondas are higher on the "most stolen" list, hence their higher insurance quote. Additionally, most parents dig Hondas and think that they are sensable cars to let their kids have for a first car since they are pretty inexpensive and can take a beating.

 

Yeah, but any money you save in repairs you lose in insurance butt-rapings!
It was definitely a good thing that my first car was so slow, though. I would have gotten in a lot of trouble with my current car in it's current state, and it's not even all that fast yet.

I still remember the time two people in modified mustangs got suspended for "racing" on the driver's ed course after school. They had about a 1/16th of a mile to run and brake.
