I too work in an office, and the government is who dictates what we can charge for an office visit. If we charge anything other than what THEY specify, we can no longer accept Medicaid/Medicare....

Somehow I only see their hands getting more and more involved should healthcare pass....

agreed but the proof is already inplace.....medicaid is like Little Boy ( first nuke drop) healthcare for all will be like thermonuclear war.....

 

I'm talking about a general unsecured loan. If I ask for a cash loan to start a business, I can use that money as I see fit to start said business. Of course, the bank will want to see my business plan and such, but if I simply take out an open loan, (which I have done before) they simply set the repayment terms.

 

George Bush, Queen Elizabeth, and Vladimir Putin all die and go to hell. While there, they spy a red phone and ask what the phone is for. The devil tells them it is for calling back to Earth. Putin asks to call Russia and talks for 5 minutes. When he was finished the devil informs him that the cost is a million dollars, so Putin writes him a check.

Next Queen Elizabeth call England and talks for 30 minutes. When she was finished the devil informs her that cost is 6 million dollars, so Queen Elizabeth wrotes him a check. Finally George Bush gets his turn and talks for 4 hours. When he was finished the devil informed him that there would be no charge for the call and feel free to call the USA anytime.

When Putin hears this he goes ballistic and asks the devil why Bush got to call the USA free. The devil replied, šEver since I became President of the USA , the country has gone to hell, so it's a local call.

 

It's not just the whole socuialized medicine, it's also the fact that we're about to rearrange 1/6 of the nations' economy, this is more than medicine, it's social engineering. But getting back to government handouts, as an example, Social Security, up until it showed up the poor were handled by churches, and other social organizations like the YMCA, or the Salvation army, (amazingly, these organizations still exist even with SS and other entitlements), in any case, SS is always on the verge of bankruptcy, when the end of the baby boomers goes through SS it's going to kill the working class young to support this mob, SS has also been prostituted to apply from every legit human problem to creating a legion of lawyers that make a living off of gaining SS payments for their clients.
Then we have another socialist program called medicare/aid came around in the 60s, again, another massive expansion of government, my parents worked their azzes off for 60 years, still, still! have to have a medicare gap insurance to pay for what medicare doesn't. So besides paying for themselves and several other's SS and medicare their whole lives, they still get raped at death's door and have to have extra insurance. There's little doubt this bill will end up the same, it will massively expand government, it will take from the working class and give to the non working, it will expand governemnt. Sort of like the old 60s tune, "take from the rich give to the poor now there are no rich no more"
or middle class either, for that matter.
