All these damn 4 banger guys coming in here and starting shit... Lol jfwy! SVO's are nice for what they are, but IMO, I love the sound of a cammed, header, and exhaust V8. Beith 5.0, 4.6, 5.4, 7.5! Nice video too man!

No doubt, I think we all like the sound of a V8 counting holes.

The Ford 2.3T sounds much better than the Honda fart cans running about. Here's a video of my friends 2.3T with an upgraded cam and tube header. Some people think it sounds like a V8, what do you think?

What muffler setup is he running? I could live with that sound out of mine.

He has no muffler on it, 3" down pipe about 12" in length.

So small block turbo'd v8's were only running low 10's? I think the field was the problem. There are 400-460 ci v8's running low 9's n/a that drive on the street. I have an efriend of mine that has a turbo'd 4.6 and run's 8.90's at 156 that drives to and from the track. But that is still impressive for that 2.3. Just curious whats the race weight of that car?

OK, I could live with it until I left the stop light. Maybe electric dumps for switching back and forth between idle mode and cruise mode.

I wouldn't expect that he'd need any suspension work to get a much better 60' - just better tires (EDIT - oh, and practice! Always helps). My coupe still has stock 4-banger suspension in it. I got into the 12's with a set of seriously wore the f out M/T Drag Radials I got off Craiglslist for $29 bucks. One had a cord patch showing on it when I put them on! But I still drove up to BMP from Ft. Myers, made a bunch of passes and made it back with no probs.

In fact, my car sorta looks like yours, but with Welds. I love the way the GT/Bullits look on it. If I ever go 5-lug, I'll probably put those on.
