Default Procomp SBF heads?

Have any of the ford guys in here ran/used any of the procomp aluminum cylinder heads on 302?I know they are fairly cheap..But was just wondering if anyone ran into any problems with quality/Fitment etc...

I think Josh (MiDiablo) has a set of them.

The main thing is you need to make sure they are flat. I know a lot of people have had problems in that area.

I believe someone else had a set on here...Rookie maybe? But I think they had rocker geometry issues. Go with a tried and true set, it will pay off in the long run IMO

I have a set on my 427W. Pushrod holes needed to be clearanced and the actual holes for the rocker arm studs were off so much that I had to have them repaired with inserts. They do work great now though and will be up for sale in a month for so. $500 heads, $850 port work (XSR cylinder heads), and $200 in valve train. I am going to give someone a hell of a deal.

Thanx for the input..What do you got think of the world products heads?Windsor jr's and Windsor sr's?Do they make good power N/A?

I have a set of Procomps I got from Tri-State cylinder head in Indiana. So for they haven't given me any setup issues.

I know Rob at Ford Speed has a set of bare Victor Juniors that he wants to sell. I bet you could scoop them up for what a set of pro-comps cost.

Bare Victor Jrs > than any Pro Comps, IMO.
