Procomp = junk!

1sicbu ran them on his car and kept cracking one of the water jackets.

Mr. Fast is using a procomp water pump, brand new out of the box it leaked! Sent back to procomp....they sent him another one that one leaked right off the UPS truck! We took it apart and used the custom RTV fix to get it to stop leaking

Google procomp junk and see what comes up (we tried it after the water pump ordeal, some funny stuff comes up)

You get what you pay for IMO.

I have a set of windsor jr's on my motor right now.

I am looking to get maybe a set of windor sr. or jrs..What do u think they would make power wise with a decent cam,carb, and intake on a 302?At least 300 at the wheels?

You will need machine work to run the Sr.'s IIRC due to the 2.02's in them. They will support 300 hp, but the cam, intake, and carb have to be matched to the heads.

This is, of course, just my opinion....Which is worth about as much as a cup of coffee. But I think Dave will verify what I said to be true.

The intake will do it, and so will the carb. Are you planning on putting a blower on it? If not, why the 284? It's a blower cam. It will PROBABLY make those numbers with the Sr OR Jr heads. Easier with the Sr. heads though.
