Same thing happened down in port charollette with whats his face. Tried turning it into a circus.

 

You also have to remember, for the people who have to travel several hours with truck and trailer (the kind of people who you would want to do a demo) would also be eating the cost of a hotel, since you want them there Friday and Saturday.

Damn, when I first organized Desoto demo's, SOME people asked me if the track would pay for their tires. lol

Drifters is something that he can advertise that will bring more spectators to his circle track event.

Waive'ing the entry fee is the least he can do.

 

it's changed to a small event anyways.... posting a new thing.

flat rate, at any comp style drift event, there will be a $25 driver/pit access fee, for others i think it's going to stay at the $10 "test and tune" fee.....

that's not hanging people by their feet and shaking money out the pockets.

 

^^thats no longer a demo either. so its different perspective. that cost to drive is fine for a normal event/practice.

 

well i may have over stepped calling it a demo initially, as it's not some huge statewide shin dig, it's just a county wide circle track race... more of a go fuck off in front of people kinda thing anyways.....
