actually one of the only times I'll give you credit John - you are 100% correct.
You know, I remember when Matt was a drag racer in his z31, Taylor thought imports were crap (and had a Vortec truck), when Rob used to have his G20. Did anyone of these guys give a damn about drifting? No... and they damn sure weren't the first ones to do it, either. You all start somewhere, be it a Miata, a stock s14 drifting on wet pavement, or S13's sliding into street signs. Everybody starts somewhere, takes from others, watched initial D, and nobody knows it all. The elitist attitude isn't going to fly, and those that keep flossing it are the first to go.

this comeing from the biggest wannbe there is. i would care what you had to say if you actually did something to make the drifting seen better, not just internet race. so take it for what its worth. i actually care about drifting and am not just in it to say i'm cool like u. so you can stfu unless you have something relevent to say............. lol

well Hachibill....my Noobness might be a bother to you, but I could care less about your opinion. Its funny, you pick on ??? for being an internet racer, but that guy attempts to slide his car as much as possible. Did you know that ??? contacted Erik Jacobs from DGTrials and told him about a possible event location with full track support? (Which DGTrials is now looking into) When is the last time you attempted to help with a event set up? And furthermore Hachidill, when I first met you in Atlanta, (im the guy that walked up to you and Rob, and said I drove up 8hrs to support you two) you were really nice and appreicative towards my friends and I. What happened? I was a noob then....

The drifting forum doesnt need attitudes and role models like you. You guys should be acting like role models for these new people, not acting like you invented the sport and shit.

as far as ive seen in any other sport, auto sports or not, the veterans dont treat the noobs like pieces of shit. you wont see micheal jordan bashing a highschool basketball team calling them noobs. why you super cool drifters treat the new guys like ass is beyond me, if drifting lasts long enough someone will have to fill your shoes. a noob will eventually rise up over all of you and make you all look like asses. be supportive and you might see the mentallity of drifting in this area grow a little. until then i guess the formule D drivers are the only ones allowed to chat in the drifting forum.

wow so far this thread has shown to be quite productive. Obviously alot of changes need to be made. And I think the general attitude of people in this forum has improved. A TR sponsered drift event would deff help!!
