charger drift test
no, putting a 5.0 in something makes you stupid as fuck.
because i have a small penis personally.
really? what about i-6's? is that medium rare gay? america has big tracks, and torque is a competitive advantage, and requires less shifting, and with the trannys that come behind them you dont break trannys, or much anything. also in america people have a small penis....thus the v8. plus it sounds like nascar, which you just cant handle.
you love an lt1? so i take it your favorite part of working on cars is replacing distributors..
thank you. more power, = more power. you can use a higher gear and get away with it, which sounds cooler, adn kills tires faster.
:raises hand
a car with good suspension normally drifts better than a shitty 1979 based suspenison, or a fbody.
maybe if you found someone who could drive your car wouldnt perform so poorly.
cool, maybe hell go to an event
really? that car has maybe 20* steering angle. you sure you werent just flooring it and barely getting sideways in 1st gear?
its just single cam, its not overhead cam...
oh and btw markshachi is a huge poser shit talking fag.
why dont you talk to me face to face?
but i was merely stating that watching that video talking about yet another big american motor drifting was boring...noone fuckin cares about a charger drifting, its just like the viper or the gto drifting..they make so much torque its kinda hard not to break traction, so i dont find it very interesting to see a v-8 doing it
now the fact that these little 4 cylinder motors can provide enough torque to break traction that easily is amazing, theres something special about any small motor that can do that. end of story

big v-8 breaks traction easily naturally < small 4 cylinder that breaks traction easily (btw i help my friend work on lt1's all the time and i love those motors)
I dont think is just about braking traction. You still need skills to maintain a drift. The big engines have advantage at high speeds but the small engines or lighter cars have advantage at low speeds. I still think that any car and any engine will do fine as long as the driver knows what to do.
from what I have seen, and heard about, the 240 with a stock KA is WAY easier to drift than a stock camaro or mustang.
My car is a handful to drift. it doesnt intiate any better or have a better exit speed than any 240. My combination is roughly 2700lbs with 300rwhp, not a whole lot diferent than a slightly built SR swap. I built the car to be different.
I have a friend that drifts the shit out of his 3500lbs 300hp LS1, which has a super long first gear, and enough body roll to rub the door handles on the ground. that's a ton harder to slide a light 240.
its just single cam, its not overhead cam...

people complain about building a car that is popular, go build an inferior car, then complain that its sooo hard to do and they are cool cuz they didn't take the 'easy' way out. If you do it right, you can balance a car for drift... power is just a bonus in drifting, controlling weight transfers is where its really at.
