Formula Dst Schedule
yea... the track was tore down two weeks ago. what's your point? there are many others just like that. every weekend before it was tore down it wasn't byebye. and the tracks before that also.
this was just an answer to you and anyone else that asks why I dont go to your oval events. i was busy driving tracks, sorry.
if you want to talk about skill and competition, setup a gymkhana and let the cones and clock talk. other than that, there is nothing to learn drifting an oval except you waste one side of tires and if you mess up you are in trouble if you hit the wall. it's not hard to hold an oval, especially if you have power.
I dont care if it's the only events in south florida. I rather learn something useful than waste away a day at an oval. that's my stand point.
and if you wanna see oval drifting so hard heres footage from some of tertechs events spring 05

never driven the same car at an event so I don't have 10000hrs of seat time in each car either. it's easy to do ovalssssss and boringggg

Question 1:
Why would only 'Pros' be allowed to do the Florida State Fairgrounds event, when it's an OPEN lot with little to no rigid obstacles (Minus the occasional K-Rail, I used to go to Autocrosses there back in the day..so did lots of other people that post in this forum). So 'amatuer' drivers can be allowed to drift at a track with lots of big walls that cause car damage and injuries...but not on a large slab of concrete? This doesn't really make a lot of sense to me, care to clarify as to why?
Question 2:
Who is doing course set-up & safety? What's this person's experience? Track Record?
Question 3:
Why? Florida is NOT ready for a championship series. There are NOT enough drivers to support a series around here. Sure there are lots of drivers and enthusiasts, but only a small amount of them are ready for active competition. Do you guys just want to run a bunch of events and make a buncha money? Are you jumping on the 'drift event' band wagon because you think it'll make tons of money? What's the motivation?
None of my questions are directed at 'starting shit' or pissing anyone off. I just wanna know.
Oh and Question 4:
Where the f is my pizza? I ordered it like an hour ago.

answers:
1) fsfg is an expedition, not an event. need to have the pros who look good and can drift. i think the amateurs might get some time.
2) bobby diehl is doin the safety and track set up. experience: owns fastruck series, and is a retired racer.
3)the motivation, we r tryin to get people off the streets, so why not make an event. think about it we r the only event that will have payout's at the end of each event, who else pays out????? who say's florida is not ready???? when do u think it will be ready??????
4) the pizza is on the way enjoi
these question u ask need to be taken up over the phone. i'm sure bobby would be more than happy to answer ur q's.

honestly, if u r flaming our event's or series we r tryin to start u need to stop. i can't help that u don't like short tracks, that is all we have at the moment. this event is to try to get more publicity so we can become something big. please stop the flaming. if u have a problem with the way we run please give me a call 813-451-0972 anthony, i would be more than happy to hear some helpful input.
