Funk, if you hate ovals so much why don't you do something about it or instead of being such a vagina, go find some kart tracks or parking lots.

so you have to show off on a dangerous oval to drift a safe parking lot...hmmm IM IN

People learn absolutely nothing from driving on ovals and the last thing Florida needs is a "professional" series. Sorry, but thats the truth.

ovals = lame. sorry adam, but it is true. try to work out more parking lot events or atleast something more technical than an "infield" and you'll get a lot more positive feedback, along with not making it mandatory to drive the ovals to drive at a cone course or w/e cause thats just homo.

I'm glad I don't live down there. It must suck for drifting to be a sideshow for rednecks to make fun of. Someone please take a 5.0 Mustang out there hahahahaha

man I'd love to be in a series. I really would.

Has anyone even considered not doing it on ovals? Someone needs to send these guys a few volumes of drift tengoku.

I guess I won't be going then since I'm forced into drifting nascar in order to go to the real event.

boo hoo.

Honestly, it's a step toward better drift events. I mean he's got all these events secured for the most part, this guy has done a whole lot for these tracks and etc. He wants to try to do some tandem runs, and set up cones, as in a course layout. It isn't going to be a derka oval, they will use the infield in the competitions, it's up to some of you guys to step up and judge/give ideas for a track layout, I mean heck, when they set up a go-kart course, part of the course was outside the track in a barriered off area in the pits, I don't see why they couldn't stiffen the barriers up and let the cars have a more chance at a different layout. He wants people to talk about this to him, he needs input. Maybe in the future he can get more parking lots or something. Nobody ever gets it right the first time, and why can't we try to shape what he wants to be some kind of grassroots series into what we think of as a grassroots series. Nothing is ever going to get done if people just wine and complain about how stupid ovals are, when you won't do anything to fix it.
