Formula Dst Schedule
Just don't copy that shit at irwindale, I know it makes for a good show but cmon; 2 sweepers and a little switchback? all in the same gear? whatever. I suggest making a course that works forwards and backwards, then make one lap go through it both ways and make a tight section where you switchback that you have to shift into first.

HAhAHAhAHAHAha.......... I don't see you thowing any events????? Some of you need to realize if ovals are what we have for right now then so be it. Show the people what amazing sport it is on any track possible and then you will have a following and then money and then your choice of track. It all has to start somewhere though. This is florida. Things get done ass backwards here and if you can't flow with that then go to Cali, and deal with not being able to drive your car on the street cause of stupid admission laws!
Ovals are the single cam of the track world - right now people are using what they have. Although they're not my cup of tea and I have reservations about the safety of ovals, I still give big ups to those who are holding events.
I've been running and calling around for a good long time getting us places where we can drift that aren't shaped like salad bowls. Great things are coming from DGTA, hang in there folks.

Oh I didnt know the layout was open for discussions. Here's some inspiration for those looking to make an effective drift layout.
See kids, this is an oval:
And this is a map of bihoku circuit. A "drift" track:
Any questions?

good point, i like ovals, but like most people say: they get boring real fast. but when you actually set up a determined coarse its not soo bad. and again ovals suck when you make a mistake. which is another reason your not going to have a huge turn out. the simple fact is most of the people drifting are driving their street cars, and a track thats not forgiving when you make a mistake is not fun to drive on cause your always worried about fucking up and totalling your car. this isn't fast trucks or a series that all the cars are dedcated race cars. these are people's DAILY DRIVERS!!! so you can understand why people feel a certain way about soemthing when it comes to wrecking their hard earned and built money. cars are a labor of love, why would you want to go to a track just so you might have a shot at destroying it, especailly on a beginner level. thats the only point i'm tring to make.
