your fav. drift car to build?
well I have seen a few 1st gen rx-7's slide as well as one of my buddy's kick's the crap out of his LOL and it come's back for more and it's all stock...but his car is just a freak of nature LOL I have been thinking of broding my horison's on a vehical choice but also seeing I dont have much exp. in drifting I am still kinda nervus about starting a project that might seem cool and fun to drive and may not turn out to be a good drift car when all is said and done....I think what I need to do is head out one night and go on a few run's with some folk's and see what aspect's of a car make it better to drift and what make's it more difficult...I can imagine power on demand is a big plus but like I said I just need to ride around with some one and see

Why not:
Porsche 924
Masterati BiTurbo (with SR20 swap)
Infinti M30
Volvo 240
Ford Mustang (any year...cheap and inexhaustible supply if crashed)
BMW 3-Series (mid-eighties are cheap and plentiful)
BMW 8-Series (if you're a big ball type)
Cadillac Catera (fat heavy car, but if Chasers can do it....)
Datsun Z (any year)
Eagle Talon TSI
Lexus SC300 (hey, Ueno drift his Soarer in D1)
-----------------
Just some ideas to have at a track day event where you won;t be running into a car just like yours every 30 seconds. Nissan 240SXs and Hachis are great cars, but different is good. Drifting events could end up like NASCRAP where everyone is driving essentially the same looking car. Zzzzzzz.

I'm with Matt. i think i creamed myself after reading his post.
Anyway, they already make a CF hood but its for 84/85 style but there's no vents or anything fancy.
I think thats an assload of work but i'd love to help you with it one day.
How come not use VG30det? you could get 500hp w/o crazy custom shit.
-b/c of low rev. limit or what?
Good stuff with the sus. though.
-also why 84/85 chassis if your gonna convert the whole thing to 87/88 (body work, 5-lug, etc.)?
and t-tops = hotness but not chassis stiffness
