OR allow them to come in when you pause the runs... have one of your boys tech them and fill them in with a quick drivers meeting of the things they need to know...

And it's easy and it's fun. You get what you pay for. With Ocala you pay more, you get mroe. With Lakeland, you pay less, you get less, but it's still drifting.

it's still seat time.

it still won't get you a wreckless driving.

im sick of all the bitching.
why cant people just be like.

wow fuckin awesome cheap ass shit.

if you really want to look at it lakeland isnt any cheaper because you use so many more tires. i personally like lakeland better. ocala is a track that cant be tossed up, once you got down the line its set. you cant try any different approaches on the turns.

and just for future reference i beleive matt is saying that with the 90$ at ocala you get a variety of turns... where as with lakeland you get like same kinda turn but for $30...

although i think i got more seat time at lakeland...

So explain, how do you safely accomidate those showing up late? They will miss TECH, and the drivers meeting. either way, there are too many questions that remain.
1. Drivers meetings are USUALLY MANDATORY. Even when it's NASCAR, they still have DRIVERS MEETINGS.

2. What are your safety protocols/requirements in regards to TANDEM DRIFTING?

3. IS your group Incorporated? Seeing as YOU are sponsoring the event, what liabilty coverage do you have that covers YOU?

4. Being that you've held 1 'semi-successful' event (not even close to being sold out), why the heavy schedule?

I've got the inclination that YOU (Miles) are only out to make a name and make some $$$. I see alot of holes that need to be cleared up. PLease do not confuse the fact that while the track may have insurance (which may or may not cover Drifting), that YOU do not. Being that any reasonable person could suspect that you are the event organizer, these leaves you open to any civil lawsuits.

Let's face it. Drifting is fun and Drifting is dangerous, but there is no need for somebody to recklessly hold events in pursuit if the high and mighty $$$. In the end, you'll end up ruining it for many.

Sorry, but that's my .02.
